Taking risks in non-traditional ways comes easy to Nancy Green. She pushes the
envelope with her fiber art just as she has in her careers with the USAF,
and most recently as a Biofeedback Practitioner.
What started as a creative diversion from a hectic lifestyle has
resulted in a relentless pursuit of her creative passions, which includes an
expertise in fabric manipulation and embellishment. Green is recognized both
locally and nationally for her innovative designs and techniques, most recently
in a Sulky contest for her exquisite open work and thread lace, and work
with unconventional fabrics.
An instructor in a wide variety of classes ranging from surface design,
embellishment and machine embroidery, to collage and several of her own original
techniques, Green encourages people to "break rules" and move in new directions.
